Move your feet at Saint Mary’s Park on Fri., Jul. 27th from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Bombazo Dance Co., the Bronx-based drum and dance troupe, and Sabrosura Effect, a Latin fusion dance company, will hit the stage and show off dance moves tailored to Cuban folkloric rhythms and New York-style salsa. Learn a few new steps. The park is located at St. Ann’s Avenue and 146th Street.

Watch the game set and match at the Bronx International Youth Tennis Center with New York Junior Tennis and Learning (NYJTL) on Wed., Aug. 1st from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Help out with NYJTL’s Special Populations Summer Tennis Event. The day will include interactive games on the court and prizes. Volunteers will assist with the games and will help set up and break down the equipment and netting. No tennis experience is needed to participate. The center is located at 754 Thieriot Avenue.

Learn aquatic history at Highbridge Park on Sun., Jul. 29th from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. With the Urban Park Rangers as your guide, get to know facts on the historic Croton Aqueduct, which brought water to the city and helped to combat disease and fires. Hike across the High Bridge and learn how New York City’s oldest standing bridge actually brought water from the Bronx to Manhattan and allowed the city to develop in the 20th century. The meeting place is located at 165th Street and Edgecombe Avenue.
